Let the Record Show...

...that on June 10, 2008, beginning at 8:00 AM, it was snowing in my yard.

Happy summer vacation, everyone.

Last night I thought sure I saw a faint "misting" of snow falling in our skies also! The thermometer said 50 degrees, but with the "wind chill", it felt more like 35-40! We saw on the news last night that you guys might very well get some snow. What crazy weather -- JUNEuary! I wonder which will happen first: summer or the rapture!

JUNEuary...I like it. I think you've coined a new term here, Mom. This morning's snow fell for about two hours, and more is expected tomorrow morning.

I think I'll go downstairs and make a fire, the fourth time I've made one this month.

Juneuary indeed.

I wish I could send some of my weather your way and you could send some of yours my way. Here it's supposed to be the fifth day in a row nearing 100 - scraping at and scrapping old record highs.

We Spokanites are riding the same crazy weather boat as you. We awoke to 33 degrees and snow. It's a whopping 49 degrees right now at 3:20! Just last night Kent and I took a walk in our shorts admiring the beautiful sunset! Forecasters are calling for 70s by Thursday. Bring on 'da heat wave!
