Three Things, Four or Five

I missed Thursday somehow.

What follows is a combo post, containing both Three Things Thursday and Four or Five (F)otos Friday. It's not quite as good as a combo pizza, but it's the best I can do for right now.

Three Things

1. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recently reported an increase in the life expectancy for Americans, bringing it up to 77.9 years.

2. So what? Who are we to "expect" to live a certain number of years, as if we have certain unalienable rights which include a set number of birthday cakes? We all know plenty of people who have lived much, much longer than this, and lots of people whose lives have ended much sooner than 77.9 years.

3. Life is fragile and uncertain, friends. Make use of the time we have. Enjoy it. Love one another. By this, all men will know that you follow Jesus, if you have love for one another. Show it. Live it to the fullest.

The Lord was so good to give you that hike up Kootenai together. These photos will become treasured I'm sure.
