I cannot hold the wind; I’ve tried
It will not be restrained
I’ve sought to capture sunset’s rays
They cannot be attained

I can’t shut out the thunder’s noise
No matter how I try
I can’t describe a meadow’s scent
My words do not apply

But would I love a summer rain
As much if made by me?
And could I ever build a thing
As handsome as a tree?

There’s more to life than what I know
I feel it at my core
Forever waits beyond my reach
But I desire more

Yes, I was made for more

This life is but a rocky path
That leads up to a door
And we were made for more than this
Oh! We were made for more
