Sick House Update

I took Tano's temperature before I went to bed late Wednesday night and he was cool. Hallelujah. He got up Thursday morning feeling fine, so I said he could get dressed and go to school. He was thrilled, because he had been invited to a classmate's birthday party on Friday night and HAD to be better by then. He got dressed, brushed his teeth, ate breakfast, and promptly threw it all back up into the ever-present bucket.

His fever didn't return, though, and by noon he was back to his normal self. Today, Friday, he returned to school and did fine. He had a blast at the birthday party this evening. He is officially over whatever it was.

About two hours ago, though, Elli began to get whiny and crabby--not a normal part of her personality. She finally admitted that her tummy felt "yucky."

"What does it feel like, Babe?"

"It feels like bugs are buzzing around in there."

Oh, boy. Somebody ring the bell; this may be the start of Round Two.

She willingly went to bed early--also not a normal thing for her. It may be a long night. I think I'll catch what sleep I can.

Ack! I'm so sorry, Sherry. That's rough. Grace and Peace to you and your family.

Yuck. At least they are being nice children and taking turns.

Poor mommy. I hope you don't get it!

Maybe Ellie is not herself but her disciription of how she felt has her signature all over it. Cheer up Sherry. You don't have any more kids to get sick on you. A local family here, had the flu go through their household of 10 people last winter.
